Dominic Omolo , a resident of Simase Cell, Mutumba Town Council in Namayingo district was arrested for blocking enumerators from  accessing his home to be counted and his family.

Omolo a cult believer of Njiri Nkalu told the enumerators that his cult doesn't allow him to be counted since it census is "satanic"

This prompted Police to swing into action and detained him at Namayingo CPS.

Trevor Solomon Baleke the Deputy Resident District Commissioner of Namayingo revealed that the 70 year old shall be counted forcefully while in detention.

He encouraged people to embrace the ongoing census since it is the only way government can plan for its people.

"We do want to know whether the census is satanic or holy but what we know it is legal under the laws of the land therefore everyone should be counted."

He warned other faith believers who think counting people is satanic that they risk being arrested and detained.

"We shall arrest those who refuse to be counted because of their faith, afterall it is the same who need services from government hence there's no need of refusing to per take in the exercise," Baleke said.
