I&M Bank celebrates 50 years in championing financial inclusion

Champions of innovation, drivers of economic progress and customer satisfaction are the words the Minister of Finance Matia Kasaija used to describe I&M Bank.

Over 50 bankers from different sectors of the economy convened in Kampala during the 50 year celebration gala dinner of I&M Bank.

Kasaija commended the bank for raising its minimum paid up capital to 210 billion shillings demonstrating its capacity to remain stable and complaint to the central bank

“The bank has played a vital role in shaping our country's financial landscape, providing essential services and supporting numerous businesses and individuals," he said.

Management at the bank pledged to continue supporting and investing in corporate social responsibilities and several outreaches arguing that this is a way to give back to its customers who have supported the bank for the past 50 years.

The gala dinner culminated with awarding dedicated customers that moved with the bank for the last 50 years.
