President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni engaged in a constructive dialogue today with the United States Ambassador to Uganda,  William W. Popp at State House-Entebbe.

 

The topics covered included the upcoming population census, regional peace and stability, and socio-economic development.

 

Both leaders stressed the importance of a thorough and inclusive census for informed decision-making and governance.

 

They also discussed regional peace efforts, emphasizing collaboration among nations to address common challenges.

 

Furthermore, they explored strategies for enhancing Uganda's growth and strengthening bilateral relations.

 

Ambassador Popp expressed gratitude for the President's time and insights, highlighting the importance of ongoing dialogue between the two nations.

 

The meeting was attended by key officials including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs.
