Oboth-Oboth confirmed that preparations are 85% complete, assuring the district organising committee that everything is on track.
Supporters and well-wishers have generously contributed cows, goats, turkeys, hens, and cash for the event.
Minister Oboth-Oboth announced that 40 cows and numerous birds will be slaughtered, alongside 1,500 kilograms of posho, 1,000 kilograms of rice, and an assortment of vegetables. Additionally, 1,450 boxes of water and 2,500 cartons of soda have been secured.
The minister emphasised that the event is open to all, with no invitations required, and urged the public to attend in large numbers, expecting over 10,000 people from the entire Bukedi sub-region to join the celebration.
