Uganda Breweries (UBL), through its iconic brands Uganda Waragi Lemon and Ginger and Bell Citrus, has announced its sponsorship of the Noise Nation Festival, slated for December 14, 2024, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

This year’s festival, organized by Swangz Avenue and House of DJs, promises to be a landmark event, headlined by Jamaican dancehall star Dexta Daps, whose electrifying stage presence and genre-defining hits have won fans worldwide.

The Noise Nation Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration, weaving together Uganda’s rich tapestry of food, music, arts, and crafts.

With gates opening at noon, attendees will be treated to a day packed with immersive experiences-from indulging in diverse culinary delights to exploring dynamic art installations and handmade crafts that showcase Ugandan creativity.

The highlight, of course, will be the music, featuring Uganda’s top artists and DJs who will join Dexta Daps in creating a memorable festival experience.

Speaking at the event’s launch at Shisa Nyama in Bugolobi, House of DJs representative James Byaruhanga expressed the festival’s vision.

“Noise Nation is about uniting communities through music and creative expression. We are thrilled to bring Dexta Daps to Kampala, alongside our talented Ugandan lineup, to create a day where food, music, arts, and crafts converge in celebration of Uganda’s vibrant culture.”

The UBL representative Justine Agaba stated that he is excited about the partnership since it aligns with the brands.

“This is a highly exciting platform and we are going to be part of this event through our vibrant brands, Bell Citrus and Uganda Waragi Lemon and Ginger whose brand stories are rooted in creative self-expression. We intend to use this platform to build meaningful connections with our customers through passion points like music, art, and fashion all of which bring people together in celebration. We’re thrilled to be part of this incredible event and can’t wait to share in the energy and creativity that Noise Nation will bring to Kampala." Agaba said.

Swangz Avenue’s Business Development Manager, Julius Kyazze, revealed that the Noise Nation is a movement and a platform for people to showcase their lifestyle.

"Noise Nation is more than a festival; it’s a platform to showcase the unique vitality of Uganda’s culture. We invite everyone to join us for a day of discovery, enjoyment, and connection.”

According to the organisers standard tickets are going for Shs200,000, VIP Access will go for Shs300,000 while table of 10 tickets go for Shs4 million.

With Dexta Daps’ international appeal and Uganda’s finest artists, this year’s festival aims to set a new standard in cultural celebration, uniting Ugandans and visitors alike in a day dedicated to creativity, joy, and community pride.
