Katikkiro Mayiga asks international schools to include culture in their curriculum

The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga has urged international schools to include cultural studies in their curriculum saying it's the only way the young generation will protect their norms.
He made the remarks during their engagement meeting with students of Kabojja International who paid a courtesy visit at Bulange mengo.

The delegation was led by one of the founders also deputy speaker for Buganda Lukiiko Ahmed Lwasa.
While addressing the students Katikkiro Mayiga explained to them a clear over view of the history of Buganda kingdom.
"I urge you to be very vigilant while discussing history of a certain institutions because social media has misinformed the public on different issues" he said
He applauded their initiative to pay a courtesy visit at Bulange Mengo because it's hard to know your history if you have not traced it.
" If your informed about something and respects each other it builds unity " he said
The head teacher of Kabojja international school Anna Sundell has applauded Buganda kingdom for giving their school opportunity to know the back ground of Buganda heritage.
"We are very grateful for this opportunity and we are sure our students have learnt slot about the Buganda kingdom" she said.
