Salam TV, Salam Charity Uganda, and Stanbic Bank have united their efforts to launch an impactful Iftar distribution program in schools across Uganda.

The program, inaugurated yesterday at Lugoba Muslim Secondary School, is designed to benefit numerous Muslim educational institutions and mosques nationwide.

The initiative has started with a focus on four schools; Lugoba Muslim Secondary School, Asia Kids School, Kiwoko Secondary School, and Katalekamese Secondary School in Luwero. These institutions represent the initial phase of a broader mission to support communities during Ramadhan.

Abdussalaam Ali Kinobe, the Country Director of Salam Charity Uganda, sincerely appreciated the partnership with Stanbic Bank, underscoring their vital contributions in providing Iftar essentials for the past four years.

Hajji Ali Lwanga from Stanbic Bank echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the profound impact of such charitable endeavors.

He referenced the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and emphasized the immense blessings of feeding fasting individuals.

Through this collaborative effort, substantial funding has been secured, enabling the distribution of comprehensive Iftar packages.

These packages include essential items like rice, maize flour, salt, and sugar—crucial provisions during the holy month of Ramadhan.

This partnership not only symbolizes unity and compassion but also reflects a commitment to supporting communities in need during this sacred time
